First innings
- first of all Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bat first.
- Delhi Capitals did not make any changes in their team, but RCB made one change in their team, Meghna was played in place of Shardha.
- As soon as the match started, there was a chance of run out on the second ball of the first over but Lanning reached Chris.
- The opening pair of Delhi Capitals used the power play very well and together they scored 64 runs in 7 overs. Till now the RCB team seemed to be in trouble.
- The 8th over of the match was a game changing over because when Sophie Molineux came to bowl in the 8th over, she took the wicket of Shafali Verma on her first ball and also changed the the game in the favour of RCB by taking 3 wickets in that entire over.
- Then in the 11th over, Shreyanka Patil gave out LBW to Meg Lanning and here DC also wasted its review.
- Till now Delhi Capitals score was 74/4 in 11 overs.
